Fermentation was halted intentionally to create this Late Harvest style, retaining the refreshing sweetness of the riesling grape without being syrupy. Not as sweet as a German or California riesling.

Tasting Notes The nose is characterised by lifted honeysuckle and apple fragrances with spicy hints of tangerine. These aromas carry through the palate flavours where the natural residual sweetness is beautifully balanced by a zesty acidity. Comparatively low in alcohol, this wine will match exceptionally well with aromatic south-east Asian cuisine as well as fruit desserts.
Wine Reviews

James Halliday 93 93 Highly recommended. Wines of great quality, style and character, worthy of a place in any cellar. Drink By: 2019 Date Tasted: 01 Apr 2014 Alcohol: 10% James Halliday - Published on 26 Jul 2014 Still very delicate and refined; the sweetness is there, part sweet fruit and part residual sugar; there are intriguing notes of tangerine, honeysuckle and lime, kept under control with crisp acidity.
